Raymond Rushboldt has been a member of the BuffaloState faculty since 2010 and has been a SUNY Fredonia faculty member since 1994. He teaches a range of courses in Political Science and Public Administration. He has been a panel chair at several Northeastern Political Science Association meetings on Public Administration, Metro Government, and Economic Development.
Ray has been an active member of the community in Northern Chautauqua County. He is a lifelong resident of Dunkirk and has served in a variety of capacities. He was Vice- President of Allocations for the United Way for 6 years, treasurer of the Polish Gymnastics Social club for two years (a nonprofit with a budget of about half a million dollars), chairman of Program and Planning for the Chautauqua County Youth Board and member for 19 years, co-principal investigator for Community Development Outreach Center grant for Housing and Urban Development federal agency, member of the Chautauqua County Redistricting commission, and Director and Vice President of the Dom Polski Literary Society.
Academically, Ray is a member of many committees including serving 3 years as Secretary of the Faculty Senate. 3 terms as chair of the SEFA (State Employees Federated Appeal) committee, 3 terms as member of Academic Affairs, the founding Director of SUNY Model European Union, advisor to many clubs and organizations, and a member of the American Political Science Association.
